You meet your emo skater boy in English class. You've always liked him, but never thought he really noticed you. Your teacher tells you to split up into pairs and share the poems you all wrote for homework. You are paired with the emo skater boy. His poem is all about a girl he's loved from a distance and how he's scared he'll never find the courage to talk to her. After you tell him how much you like his poem, he confesses it's really about you! He gives you a box and tells you that if you like him back, you should wear the gift in the box to class tomorrow, and he leaves. When you're alone, you open the box and find two cute heart-shaped earrings. Of course you wear them to class the next day, and your emo skater boy and you go out on your first date that night!

You meet your punk skater boy at a concert. He's in the opening band, but you've never heard them before. When they start to play you immediately recognize the song. Then it hits you--his band rehearses in the garage of a house down the street from you. You've heard them play this song every weekend, but you never paid any attention to it. While he plays and sings you realize he's only looking at you. As you listen to the lyrics about loving "the girl next door" you are surprised to discover he wrote this song for you and he is in love with you! After he finishes he walks over to you and asks if you liked the song, you say you do, and he asks you out. When you say yes, he smiles and takes off a guitar necklace he's been wearing and gives it to you. You still wear that necklace and never take it off!

You meet your cute skater boy at a skate park. You are learning how to skateboard and most of the guys there are laughing at you because you are a bit clumsy. The cute skater boy comes over and tells you he can teach you how to skate. He meets you the next day and shows you how to skateboard. You learn fast and tell him he is a good teacher. He disagrees and says that you're just talented. He asks you out and after your third date he gives you a star ring and asks you to be his girlfriend. Of course, you say yes!
